What... is new?

2002 a new additional software was introduced: NewsHTML. Now one can read from everywhere and at every time news from his office computer. The caller has not to install any software, a simple Webbrowser like Internet-Explorer suffices. Only local telephone costs accrue because the connection is built over the internet - ideal for all, which are not constantly in the office and have to must oversee agency news.
The success was programmed, after numerous press offices and different state parliaments, the European Parliament and the European Council in Brusssels decided in favor of NewsWire multimedia and NewsHtML. The representatives can now access central agency data in Brussels from whole Europe.

2002 was also the year, in which many NewsSystem were changed. Info radio of the SFB, the SRDRS, the BLR in Munich, 40 private radio stations in Bavaria, state parliament and state chancellery in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, KNRC Newspaper radio as first American customer, the Deutsche Telekom, the Deutsche Post AG, ARTE in Strasbourg, the Moscow office of the ARD and many others now work with NewsWire multimedia.

In 2003 we supplied Newswire beside of other customers to 5 new radio stations, the magazine CAPITAL, a journalist school in Brandenburg, TUI AG in Hannover T-mobile in Bonn and now also to the ARD Studios in New York and Washington. Important was the Upgrade of the existing NewsWire-System of the European Parliament in Brussels, Luxemburg and Strasburg. They have up to 32 channels now. The national agencies of the new european members (Poland, the Baltic states, Cyprus, Finland etc. ) are now received.

2004 NewsWire runs now together with mySQL, the famous open source database. We intergrated a long time archive where each channel can be switched to store xx days/weeks, months or even years. A new search engine will find now each message within seconds in thousands of news. The search form has now an basic (AND..AND) and an advanced mode (AND, OR, NOT, Wildcards, Strings etc.)

2005 was even more successful than all previous years! NewsWire can now receive and process IPTC pictures from agencies, the data base now replicates automatically and again, there is a new module: NewsMail. NewsMail sends filtered news to Mailboxes, PDA's or Blackberry Smartphones. Many customers like BAYER, Leverkusen, Pleon Kothes Klewes Bonn, the European commission Brussels, the RBB Berlin, the Hessian radio Frankfurt, the Hessian state parliament Wiesbaden, Merck KgaA Darmstadt, Yomiuri Shimbun Geneva, ems journalist school Babelsberg, RPR Ludwigshafen, Hanauer Zeitung, Hanau, Ostseewelle Rostock and the ARD offices in Washington, New York, Moscow, Madrid and Prague upgraded to the newest versions of our software. New installations among others have been done at the Westdeutsche Zeitung Düsseldorf Dow Jones Paris, the European Central Bank Frankfurt, the ZDF Mainz, SwissTXT Biel, the Allianz AG Munich Audi Ingolstadt Antenne Thüringen Erfurt, WestLB Düsseldorf, the embassy of the United States Berlin and the Financial Time in Hamburg with 250 editing places.

In 2006 NewsWire was released in Version 8.6! RSS-feeds and tables of the Deutsche Presse-Agentur can be received. The NewsWire Editor allows a common treatment of textes. An optimized Useradministration allows to give Read - Write - Create and Delete of common files and folders. NewsHTML Version 4 was presented. It has a new screendesign and works now together with our database. Searchroutines/Filters can be created and used with normal browsers, the search function has now the same logic as in NewsWire, AND-OR-NOT relations are possible and that of course in the fulltext. Many of our existing customers decided to upgrade their versions. Swissinfo Bern, the Embassy of the United States of America Berlin, Ansager&Schnipselmann Düsseldorf, Ruhrkohle AG Essen, Arena Sport Rechte&Marketing Köln, the ARD Studio Berlin, CNC München, Air Berlin, ZDF Mainz Alertsystem, SRDRS foreighn correspondents network, Deutsche Steinkohle AG Herne and the Ministère des Affaires Etrangères in Paris are new customers and users of our products now.

2007 within others Will Media, the Bundesverand der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken, SFR in Paris and National Public Radio in Washington/Los Angeles became new customers, others like the Dresdner Bank AG, the Walliser Bote, the Staatskanzlei MV,  RBB in Berlin, Funkhaus Nürnberg, the ems Journalistenschule, NordLB, Hanauer Anzeiger and the WDR in Cologne have been updated. Some new developments have been done for National Public Radio which are now integrated: NewsWire and NewsHTML can read now the IPTC NewsML format, beside the receipton of RSS-Feeds we can now also generate these feeds and the Webclilent NewsHTML runs now also on PDA’s.

In 2008 NewsHTML got a new look: Own filters could be stored for each user.  A big german ARD TV company ordered NewsWire as an “accessibel  version” for handicapped journalists. All graphics are not displayed, textes are read and spoken by JAWS and all functions can be done by the keyboad only, no mouse is used. Numerous customers like WestLB, SRDRS, VDI-Verlag, Bundesverband der Volksbanken und Raiffeisenkassen, Radio ffn, ems School for journalists, ARTE, NPR Washington/Los Angeles, Financial Times Deutschland, CNC München, Deutsche Post AG Bonn and others expanded or upgraded their systems but also new customers like Verlag M. Dumont Schauberg Köln, REWE, Unicepta, Hess. Minister für Wirtschaft, ergo Unternehmenskommunikation, SFR Paris were added. Further RIA NOVOSTI, a russian agency in cyrillic language was realized at the ARD office in Moscow and at ARTE’s office in Strasbourg/France the new Reuters Dopesheet (ReutersTV) was integrated.

2009 was the 20th anniversary of NewsWire! Unbelievable, we have some customers since the beginning of our software Some big installations like at the Hessische Rundfunk, the ARD Studio in Madrid, the SwissTXT in Biel, the Schweizer Radio DRS and the BLR in Munich, the Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, the RAG in Herne, the Deutsche Post AG and the Deutsche Telekom, both in in Bonn, CNC Communications and Network Consulting in Munich, NIKKEI in Berlin, the NordLB in Hannover, Radio 100,7 in Luxembourg, Radio Ramasuri Weiden, Funkhaus Aschaffenburg, the Hanauer Anzeiger, RWE Essen and the Dresdner Bank - now the Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt have been updated and upgraded. But also new customers like DER FREITAG in Berlin, Yomiuri Shimbun in Brussels, Thyssen Krupp AG in Essen, Sport Informationsdienst in Neuss the Privaten Bremer Rundfunk, NHK in Berlin and Gruner & Jahr (Stern) in Hamburg decided to use NewsWire now. Just some days before the end of the year new features have been added to NewsWire: Now pictures, audiofiles and even videoclips from the agencies like Reuters could be received and treated. Newswire is “simply the best”.
